Dr Weston A Price: Diet for Pregnancy and Healthy Teeth… and other things.

If you are thinking about having children in the near future, this is a must-watch!!

The Weston A Price diet is based on the consumption of grass-fed meat, butter, raw dairy, (all hormone and pesticide free) free range eggs, fresh fish, coconut oil, bone broth, etc. A healthy pregnancy, and later a healthy child, requires high quality foods and avoidance of low-quality (or negative nutrient content, as I call it, foods such as refined flour, refined sugar, etc. and processed) foods. The foundation recommends adopting this diet for at least a year before trying to have a baby. There is some sound advice here, and an interesting discussion about development and health of the child based on meeting these energy requirements.
